In May 2026, Circa celebrated the arrival of the complete Bankston Collection to its award-winning Port Melbourne showroom with an exclusive event attended by architects, designers, builders and industry professionals.

Founded by Southern Design Group, Bankston transforms architectural hardware from a functional necessity into a thoughtful design detail, creating meaningful points of interaction throughout a space.

Circa and Bowens hosted an exclusive tour of Australian Sustainable Hardwoods (ASH) in Heyfield, Gippsland. A select group of building and design professionals experienced a behind-the-scenes look at Australia’s largest vertically integrated hardwood manufacturer, gaining valuable insight into sustainable timber production and innovation.

More than 80 builders, designers, suppliers and industry professionals came together at Circa and Bowens Port Melbourne for the inaugural Build Insite Live, an afternoon dedicated to industry connection, innovation and authentic conversation.

Hosted by the team behind the Build Insite Podcast, the event transformed the discussions that have made the podcast a respected industry platform into a live experience, providing attendees with opportunities to share insights, exchange ideas and explore the future of Australian construction.

A remarkable story of craftsmanship, conservation and Australian timber was unveiled at Circa Studio, as architects, interior designers, furniture designers and builders gathered for the official launch of Hydrowood – now available exclusively through Circa and Bowens.

More than simply introducing a new product range, the evening celebrated one of Australia's most extraordinary material stories. Recovered from the submerged forests of Tasmania's Lake Pieman, Hydrowood gives new life to rare native species that have remained preserved beneath the water for decades.
